Holy crap!.. this is wild. It's a game not a movie but I would assume this might become a movie soon.
Anyone watching The Walking Dead on AMC? Haven't seen it. Just wondering how good it is.
Going to checkout the Chicago Horror Film Festival today. The founder, Jason Davis is going to unveil something called "Fright Mobile". Sounds pretty cool.
The Chicago Horror Film Festival has become a Chicago institution. With a past that started with the historic 3 Penny Cinema and a future continuing to grow with moving on to new and better venues. What has once started with a simple one day festival to showcase Short Independent Horror films has now become a festival for both feature and short horror films and to be known for seeing many of its featured films picked up for distribution.
I wasn't able to see any movies, unfortunately. I didn't have the time. I was only able to pop in and look around. Fright mobile looks pretty cool. Cinefile was there covering it. I would recommend going, though. There are many horror movies shown there that possibly won't even come to DVD. Of-course most all of them are low budget.
Honestly, I just wish it wasn't 3-D. Looking forward to this though.
Dread Central is the premier website for breaking news, original content and active community in the world of horror, covering movies, DVDs, games, collectibles, live events and music. If it's got something to do with the dark and horrific, you'll find it on Dread Central.
As Nelson said... wish I was in Austin...
Malick's latest sprouts rumors, including Austin premiere
I wanna make it out to Fantastic fest, one year. I would love to try out all the places they have to eat down there and of course, I always wanted to visit the Alamo Drafthouse.
Culturalize! We Americans need to checkout more international film. There's a lot of great films being made in Russia, China, South Korea. I wish it was more accessible. Clearly that's a problem.

Chris Columbus is producing three new horror/monster films. Killer Pizza, Carpe Demon and the very interesting sounding, Graveyard Book: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=66479
Was looking through my DVD collection. It occurred to me that horror DVDs tend to be light on special feature and was wondering what Horror movie DVD has the best special features? Anyone?
Who's the most influential Horror filmmaker? My vote is Mario Bava because in many ways he defined the best elements of Horror.. ie. atmosphere, style and shock.
I want to see this. And for some reason I want you to see this too. It's called Death Kappa. Check it out at Amazon.

I enjoyed it overall. My only disappointments at time were the writing in a few places and the fact that a lot of time is spent on spoken drama as opposed to seeing more of it.
