Domingo, it looks like an interesting film. For a picture like this I would not be inclined to hire a rep and hope for distribution. It has nothing to do with the quality of the film, it has more to do with the fact that if promoted properly online, using targeted sites, (Like Cinefile) and others (Facebook, etc) interest can be gained. It isn't easy, but what is? Anyway, most VOD venues would be delighted to take this film and you would probably earn %50 of a $4 VOD. Do you think you can get 25,000 people interested in a good film by smart, aggressive online and social marketing? I do. What did it cost to make? Profit is possible doing it yourself. We have to get used to smaller profits. Do it yourself or else find at least $1 million per budget, per picture. Best of luck.

Good to meet you. I should post my film at Amazon again so folks could enjoy and spread the word if they like it. My sales agent (soon to be ex-agent) told me to stop distributing my film online in order to generate a distribution deal at last years AFM. Well plenty of time has passed and no sale so I think I am going back to grassroots distribution. Please take a look at my site for trailers--www.betweenstories.com. Funny quite a few family, friends and industry folk have been emailing me about the similarities between my film and the new film Devil. Of course mine doesn't have the devil but certain elements are similar. Ahhh if only I had M. Night's resume then maybe I could get some recognition or at the very least give people an option to see Between Stories. Take care.

Incredible Time-Lapse, Tilt-Shift Remix Of Rear Window, by Jeff Desom

Rear Window Remix

This is an astonishing video and if you're a fan of the film it makes it even more astonishing knowing how he put this together in such a beautiful, seamless remix of scenes from the amazing set Hitchcock had designed. This is a real treat. It's the best thing I've seen on Vimeo in a while.
