The Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago proudly presents the Gene Siskel Film Center Renaissance Award to Robert Downey, Jr. paying tribute to his remarkable film career. For his astonishing performance as Charlie Chaplin in Sir Richard Attenborough's CHAPLIN, Robert received and Academy Award® nomination for Best Actor. He also guest-starred in the hit comedy show "Ally McBeal" which won him a Golden Globe® for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. Robert's most recent successes include the box office hits IRON MAN (and its sequel, coming this summer) and SHERLOCK HOLMES. Director Todd Phillips will interview Robert live at the Ritz Carlton Chicago. Todd's most recent film, THE HANGOVER, is the highest grossing adult comedy of all time and has received numerous awards including the Golden Globe® for Best Picture—Musical or Comedy. His latest film, DUE DATE, starring Robert Downey, Jr., Zach Galifinakis, and Jamie Foxx, will be released by Warner Bros. this fall.
Takeshi KItano Planning Sequel To "Outrage"

Reports are surfacing that director Takeshi Kitano will be making a sequel to his recent film, "Outrage." The film opened in Japan in June and has grossed 750 million yen thus far. Kitano is planning for to release Outrage 2 in fall, 2011.
