His one dating experience in the past year was sabotaged by his own desperation. He also tries, but fails to use humor to connect with his uptight coworkers. He is somewhat overwhelmed and intimidated by the city, and has made no new friends since he moved there alone one year ago. He is starved for both friendships and love. [AMANDA] [GENDER: FEMALE] [ETHNICITY: CAUCASIAN] [AGE: 19] [LOOK: PRETTY, INNOCENT BUT SERIOUS, YOUNG, MAYBE PETITE] Amanda is a bright-but-troubled young girl with an abusive family history. She is aggressively independent and DIY (and thus loves the punk rock style and attitude), to the point where she will do almost anything to make money aside from asking her parents for help. This has lead her down an increasingly dark path, starting as an "escort" for parties and now having degenerated into full-on prostitution. Despite her unfortunate situation, she has a clever sense of humor and is secretly kind of a nerd. These are aspects of her personality that she only reveals to people she is comfortable around.
