A short doc exploring the fantastic new DIY sewing workbook 'Stay-Stitched'. 'Stay-Stitched' is great for anyone intimidated by sewing but wants to become more self-sufficient and capable in this world of Walmarts and fast-food.

Really fun watch! Great stills montages showing off their finished products. Not sure how much sewing info we soaked up but really dug the DIY message!

Description
Since 2005 Millefiore has been a permanent fixture on Prince Edward Island, dedicating herself to the craft and community of media arts. Millefiore's first documentary Stalking Love screened at festivals across Canada and the US and played on CBC's documentary! for three years. She worked as the Executive Director of The Island Media Arts Co-op, programming a number of initiatives. She contributes to her sector through sitting on the boards of Women in Film and Television-Atlantic, The Island Film Factory, and The Island Media Arts Co-op. She is an industry editor (Razzberrry Jazzbery Jam for CBC, and Angora Napkin for Teletoon) while focusing on her own documentary and experimental video practice. Millefiore's experimental video work has screened at film festivals and galleries across Canada and the US. She has also produced one on-line documentary web series, Faces and Hands. She continues to be highly active in her sector as a curator, programmer, and advocate. Millefiore is currently producing her second feature length documentary and web series The Telling. It is a documentary that explores the human network and the stories of Prince Edward Island. Poetic anthropology. Her passion is to capture on film the moments when human's reveal themselves and their essential interconnectivity.
