*Part III to will be written in the aftermath of the glow of the fest.

Sundance 2011, insofar as distribution was concerned, saw a spike on both the traditional sales and the DIY front. Thirty-one deals were done so far and more to come. One difference between this year’s Festival and those of recent years is that several acquisitions were done prior to the Festival and more deals occurred right at the beginning of the Festival rather ...

Incredible Time-Lapse, Tilt-Shift Remix Of Rear Window, by Jeff Desom

Rear Window Remix

This is an astonishing video and if you're a fan of the film it makes it even more astonishing knowing how he put this together in such a beautiful, seamless remix of scenes from the amazing set Hitchcock had designed. This is a real treat. It's the best thing I've seen on Vimeo in a while.
