Here it is guys, the final teaser and the official one at that! If you like it, please share it and leave us some feedback here and on YouTube! Thanks! Take Care, Chris
Everything comes together nicely here. Red Epic: sounds like a nice opportunity. I hope your camera and editing departments post their workflow trials & tribs on here.
Thank you for the thoughts sir!
If I'm remembering correctly, the Director and DP wanted him silhouetted at the top of the stairs, but didn't quite get it how they wanted it. Otherwise, they were pretty pleased with the visual look for the rest of the project.
We'll definitely keep you posted on the feature.
Hey Guys, Here's the third and final mini-teaser as promised. Tomorrow we'll be launching the main teaser. As always, thanks for watching! Take Care, Chris
Had to check in with my DP to make sure I got the list right.
Duclos Lens Cinema Modified - Ziess ZF Prime Set
The ambient sound is not exploited here--very good job! What kind of lenses were you using?
It's sad it took me three posts to realize there was a video link button right next to the link button. Apologies for not using it sooner!
Hey Guys, Here's the No Tomorrow mini-teaser 2 of 3. "Mercy" Enjoy! Take Care, Chris
The TRAVELER encounters a wounded woman in her last moments and knows he has a decision to make. This is a mini teaser, part 2 of 3, leading up to the main t...
Looks great. High quality. I like the main character. Very Duke Nuke em-esque. Look forward to seeing more.
Glad you guys like them so far. As for teasing the story more, you're right and you'll get a taste of that with the final teaser for sure. Tomorrow's teaser was actual supposed to be today, but a bit of post took longer than expected. It's not going to tease the story too much, but it does allude to some other elements at play.
This is definitely a film that won't emphasize blood, guts, and gore. It's a more personal journey that the Traveler is going through, which hopefully will help set it apart.
Honestly though, thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated!
Take Care,
Chris
The first NO TOMORROW mini-teaser "Checklist" is now live on YouTube!
The TRAVELER wakes from a haunting dream and begins his routine for the day. This is a mini teaser, part 1 of 3, leading up to the main teaser on 12.09.10.I...
There was concern in another forum I partake in that the teaser starts out strong and then dies off pretty quick. I agree the pacing is slow, but this and the next two are simply meant to give peeks into the Traveler's day to day life post outbreak. The pacing is a deliberate demonstration as opposed to an effort to match the attention spans of those most frequently on YouTube.
With that said, perhaps they'd be better off if I referred to them as Concept Pieces, so as to prevent any preconceived notion of what a Teaser is and isn't. Sorry for any confusion!
Latest "No Tomorrow" blog post with a couple of updates and a brief overview of the strategy. The first mini-teaser goes live today!
Glad to hear it Marco!
These first three are basically snippets in what has become the TRAVELER"S life. He's on his own, surviving in the wilderness of the Midwest. Let me know what you think and please stay tuned for the main teaser on Thursday.

Thanks Scott. It's definitely newer territory for us, but seems to be working out pretty well.
Excellent. Thanks. I'll send you a confirmation asking you to opt in to our newsletter. It's a pretty cool newsletter that just shows new people and user projects here at Cinefile. Keep us updated on things. I am really looking forward to seeing this get made.
Nope. Not a Columbia College alum. Born and raised in the city of Chicago, went to college in central Wisconsin and now am back home in Chicago trying to lead the way to the new media movie frontier. That and still watching boatloads of movies. What school do you come from?
I did go to Columbia. I saw a video you shared maybe of Cinema Slapdown, just thought there might be a connection.
Check out the cast and crew of our upcoming teaser "No Tomorrow"!
New post! No Tomorrow: A Dream Worth Having is a Dream Worth Living
Nelson,
Glad to hear it! I've done more reading and research on this sort of thing than I should probably admit, so I certainly hope we're doing it right. Hehe.
Take Care,
Chris
You're doing things right. Starting story (with your blog) about your project is the way to go.
"No Tomorrow" Marketing Strategy - Part 2 of 2 has been posted! Read, enjoy, comment, and share!
Mike,
I added cinefile.com to the special thanks list on the blog and the website.
Hope that helps!

We are currently working with a new company called SoKap. They have an amazing model, actually. Very unique. Unlike Kickstarter, they have a model where you can reach out to those wanting to be a part of your investment and therefore, profit as well. Thus, you have the potential to attract more money, more serious people. They are so new their site is not live yet. We hope to implement something with them soon where the filmmakers like yourself here at Cinefile can opt in right from our site. I'll keep you posted.
Just loaded some sweet new poster art for "No Tomorrow". Get a look at the zombies that start in the film as well as the lead character, The Traveler.

Scott,
Yes, I'm going to push both the owner and the DP to try to provide regular updates or at least incremental (initial planning, tests, gear lists, workflow, production, and post/outcome). I know they both want to, just a matter of making sure they save themselves some time and energy to do so.
They both agree it's another way to both advertise our project and help filmmakers considering similar gear.
