Randy Finch is an educator and producer of films and plays. At the beginning of his career, Mr. Finch was involved with many plays on Broadway and Off, including: HURLYBURLY, KEY EXCHANGE, ON GOLDEN POND, EXTREMITIES, THE MISS FIRECRACKER CONTEST, OLEANNA and ANGELS IN AMERICA. Mr. Finch has also produced plays at Lincoln Center in NY and the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Mr. Finch has also produced a number of movies including: OUTSIDE PROVIDENCE, FEDERAL HILL, and THE SUBSTANCE OF FIRE. Mr. Finch’s first film, MILES FROM HOME, premiered in competition at the 1988 Cannes Film Festival. Mr. Finch is now an Associate Professor in the Film Department at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. At UCF Randy Finch mentors young filmmakers. Several of his students have recently finished feature length films they wrote, directed and produced while at UCF. In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Finch has degrees from Harvard College and Fordham University School of Law.
